- NAICS Code: 334516 The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a requirement for Equipment Maintenence Agreement. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is RFQ-RT-03-00082 and the solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 01-12. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) anticipates that the contract will be awarded as a result of full and open competition. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated to result from the award of this solicitation. This requirement will be issued under simplified acquisition procedures. This is NOT a small business set-aside, however the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)code for this procurement is 334516 which has a size standard of $5.0 million. The contractor shall provided Maintenance Agreement for the Environmental Protection Agency, 26 West Martin Luther King Drive., Cincinnati, Ohio 45268 . In order to be eligible for award, bidders shall submit prices as specified in statement of work for base year and 4 option years. For the following equipment: CLIN#1: Quantity of 77, John Controls RTD Probes and Partlow Temp Controllers; CLIN#2: Quantity of 55, Centrifuges; CLIN#3: Quantity of 23, PH Meters; CLIN#4: Quantity of 11, Spectrophotometer's; CLIN#5: Quantity of 19, ThermalCyclers: Clin#6: Quantity of 1, Software Upgrade to version 12. The Government will exercise the option years in accordance with FAR 51.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, if required. The Government will give the Contractor a preliminary notice of its intent to extent at least 60 days before the contract expires.
