- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepare= d in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information contained in this notice. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 01-11. The VA intends to award a firm-fix priced contract for construction supplies needed for Phase II renovation of halls and walls of the VA Medical Center located in Atlanta, GA. Container 15 EA; (07) Trowel for XT-2000 2 EA; (08) Border (Spool) 48 SL; (09) Woven CRTN CLRD MSH up to 88=94 H-LF-2, 22 EA; (10) Diverter Bar 8 FT (Seagrass) 40 EA; (11) Divider Bar 8 FT (Color: Skylight) 40 EA; (12) Top Cap 8 FT (Skylight) 100 EA; (13) .060 Sheet 4=92Wx8=92L (Skylight) 65 EA; (14) Inside Corner 8 Ft. (Skylight) 20 EA; (15) Vinylseal Cartridge 10.5 oz (Skylight) 10 EA; (16) 3=94x4=92 Hi-Impact Bullnose CG (Skylight) 70 EA; (17) Border (Skylight) 60 SL; (18) Extension Roller 1 EA; and (19) Woven CRTN CLRD MSH up to 88=92 H-LF-2, 22 EA. Delivery is two weeks after contract award, FOB Destination. WJBD Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) plans to negotiate on a sole source basis with Inpro Corp, S80 W18766 Apollo Drive, Muskego, WI. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A DETERMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO COMPETE THIS CONTRACT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL BE CONSIDERED SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING WHETHER TO CONDUCT A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. The NAICS Code is 444190 and the size standard is $6.0 Million. The following FAR Provisions and Clauses apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors =96 Commercial Items (OCT 2000); 52-212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications =96 Commercial Items (JUL 2002); 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions =96 Commercial Items (MAY 2002); 52-212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders =96 Commercial Items (MAY 2002) items (b)=20 (11) through (16), (19 (ii)), and (25).
