Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure the following John Crane-Lips Americas parts: NSN 5330-01-491-2868, Seal, Plain, Face Assy. (Split), Part Number H73587-01-4, Quantity 20 EA; NSN 5330-01-491-2918, Seal, Nonmetallic, SP, Inflatable, Part Number H73587-01-5-3, Quantity 25 EA; and NSN 2040-01-495-7095, Seat Assembly Split, Part Number H73587-01-1, Quantity 19 AY. These parts are for the Main Propulsion Shafting, Crane Model US73587-01, that is to be used on the 87? WPB Coast Guard vessels. Preservation, Packaging, and Marking shall be in accordance with USCG ELC Spec. No. PP&M dated 5/95, Rev. D dated 10/00. Delivery shall be 75 days after award. Delivery to be F.O.B. destination to various shipping locations. It has been determined in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, that only Wartsila Lips Inc. (formerly John Crane ?Lips Americas) or their authorized distributors can provide these parts. Technical data and/or drawings pertaining are proprietary to Wartsila Lips Inc. or their authorized distributors. Substitute part numbers are not acceptable. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered parts: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered item (i.e. salient physical, functional, and serviceability characteristics, or 2) Data that the offered part has been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. See Numbered Note 22. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
