OVERNITE MAILING ADDRESS: ATTN: ANDREE PRIEGNITZ, DEFENSE ENERGY SUPPORT CENTER DESC-MK, BLDG 1621-K, 1014 BILLY MITCHELL BLVD, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS 78226 The contract awarded as a result of this commercial acquisition will be a three year firm fixed price requirements type contract with two one year options IAW FAR Part 12. The contract ordering period will be from 01 April 2003 through 31 March 2008, if both options are exercised. Options will be part of the evaluation for contract award. Gaseous Nitrogen Type I, Grade A (GN2) IAW MIL-PRF-27401D NSN: 9135-00-823-8115, estimated yearly quantity 55,000 MC (Thousand Cubic Feet) for the basic period of the contract, 50,000 MC for the first option year, and 45,000 MC for the second option year. FOB is Destination into the pipeline at any or all established connect points located on the 5,500 PSI gaseous nitrogen pipeline at Boeing North American, Rocketdyne Division at the Santa Susana Facility, Canoga Park, CA. The contract will require uninterrupted delivery of product, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The contractor shall install and maintain equipment necessary to generate gaseous nitrogen by conversion of liquid nitrogen. This equipment will remain the property of the contractor. A land lease will be made available by Boeing to the contractor who receives the contract award. The solicitation will have separate line items for the product and the lease of the equipment.
