Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation DAHA33-03-T-0014 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circula r 2001-11. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS code that applies is 484210 and business size is $18.5 Million. This action will result in a FFP purchase order utilizing simplified commercial acqusition procedures under full and open competition. This requirement is for: Moving contract to move contents of Bldg 101, 203 and 422 to Building 164. Items to be moved vary from boxed desk items and computer monitors, to classified filing cabinets and Vidmar work benches. Contra ctor is required to furnish, install, complete facility protection equipment to include, as a minimum, door guards, floor protection for carpet/vinyl/tile, and any other items normally used for this type of move, each time they are on site. The moving con tract will be based on an hourly rate, for up to 500 hours of work on site. This work may include partial days or weekends. Contractor is to include in their quotation a per unit cost for boxes, tape, ID stickers, and packing paper. Note any refunds for returned used or unused boxes. Travel time/expenses, dollies, furniture pads, etc shall not be extra, but absorbed in the hourly rate. Anticipated contract work period will be from 07 February, 2003 to 31 March, 2003. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that in effect through Federal Acq uisition Circular 2001-11. The closing date will be 03 Feb 03 by 1:00pm EST. The following provisions are included in this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial. The Government will make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the lowest priced. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications. A completed signed copy of provision FAR 52.212-3 shall be submitted with any quotation. The following clauses apply to this acquisitio n: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commerical Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commerical Items.
