- Description
- Contractor shall provide General and Comprehensive Eye Examinations to eligible Veterans beneficiaries of the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS), in accordance with the all terms, conditions and provisions of the solicitation. Services will be provided at the contractor's facility, in the Dothan, AL area. Contractor's facility must be within a 30-mile radius of the city limits of Dothan, AL. It is the VA's intention to solicit for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, firm fixed price contract on a competitive basis. Offers providing a discount off Medicare rate will be given more consideration. The contract includes a Base year (one year from date of award) plus 4 one-year renewal option periods, that may be exercised at the option the Government. The total duration of the contract(s) will not exceed 5 years. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 15. RFP 247-0232-03 is advertised as full and open competition with NAICS Code 621320 with the size standard of $6.0 Million. The solicitation will be issued o/a 2/3/03.
