- Description
- Provide pharmacy services for the Community Based Outpatient Clinics located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Beaufort, South Carolina; and Savannah, Georgia. The Contractor will fill and dispense prescriptions of up to a 10-day supply of medication as prescribed by the health care providers at the CBOC's. It is anticipated that the prescriptions will be acute medications or medications used to initiate therapy until full supply can be delivered by VHA pharmacy services. Pharmacy services shall be available between the hours of 9:00AM and 7:00PM, Monday through Friday, as a minimum. Prescriptions shall be filled within one hour of delivery to the pharmacy. The mailing and delivery of prescriptions are not authorized. The Pharmacy shall provide proof of current license by the State of South Carolina and/or the State of Georgia. All pharmacists employed by the Contractor must show evidence of current license by the State of South Carolina and/or the State of Georgia; proof of current controlled substance permit; and proof of continuing education. All pharmacy interns/externs must be registered by a state Board of Pharmacy. NOTICE: This procurement is 100% total set-aside for small business concerns. Anticipated issue date is February 6, 2003. Request for hard copy solicitation and/or inquiries must be in writing to the Contracting Officer and will be accepted by fax at 706-481-6741. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available at the URL address. Interested parties are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
