Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: The contract will be to provide fully Contractor operated and maintained helicopter flight services consisting of one light turbine helicopter (SA-316B, SA-315B or equal) in support of Yellowstone National Park Service resource, wildland fire, and short-haul search and rescue management programs. The helicopter's designated base will be Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The Contractor will be required to hold a current Federal Aviation Administration air carrier and operating specification for the category and class of aircraft required and furnished under the contract. As well, the Contractor will be required to be certificated under 14 CFR, Part 133, Rotorcraft External-Load Operations and Part 137, Agricultural Aircraft Operations. The term of the contract is one year with options to renew for four additional years. The contract includes a mandatory 108-day exclusive use period beginning approximately June 15, 2002 through September 30, 2002.
