Description
NA The Joint Mumitions Command (JMC) is conducting a Sources Sought/Market Survey for the M700 Time Blast Fuse, This item is not currently in production. This survey is open for both large and small concerns. This survey is being conducted to evaluate the pro duction capability of the existing base for the subject item. This effort is in anticipation of potential increases in requirements that would create a greater demand for the subject item. For purposes of this survey, anticipated quantities may range fro m 1M to 4M units per year. A respondent to this market survey should be able to show that they have adequate technical capability, manufaturing capacity, certification to receive export-controlled technical data (as applicable), and good past performance i n explosives processing industry, as an indicator of your qualifications. Interested companies who have the necessary capabilities should respond by providing the following information; a brief summary of your company's capabilities, description of facilit ies, personnel, and related manufacturing experiences; estimated minimum and maximum monthly production quantities, estimated prices, and the minimun procurement quantity (MPQ) required for proudction. If a respondent does not have adequate resources (tech nical, personnel,etc.) available, the respondent must be able to demonstrate his ability to obtain those resources in a timely fashion. If a respondent chooses to utilize the services of sub-teir vendors or subcontractors, those vendors or subcontracators must also meet these criteria. The intent of this survey is to establish a multiple source base for the acquisition of this item. This information shall be submitted within 20 calendar days from the date of this puplication to US Joint Munitions Command, ATTN: AMSJM-CCM-F/Virginia Upton; uptonv@jmc.army.mil, BLDG 350, Rock Island, IL 61299-6000. All information collected from this market survey shall be used for planning purposes only. Do not mistake this sources sought as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the government. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information submitted. All information submitted will be held in a confidential status.
