Description
NAICS Code: 441110 In accordance with FAR Part 12, the EPA's National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory (Ann Arbor, Michigan) is in need of a MY 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad Cab Short Bed 4x4 Diesel Truck. The truck will be used in a variety of testing scenarios to advance the understanding of emissions at NVFEL. The purchase order will be awarded as a small business set-aside in accordance with FAR Part 19. Because of the various intended uses for the vehicle, it must be a new vehicle meeting the following specifications. The truck shall be a new DR8H41 SLT Model Year 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad Cab Short Bed (140.5 inch wheel base) 4x4 with a High Output Cummins Diesel Common Rail Engine. The Engine shall be a Code: ETH 6 Cylinder High Output Turbo Diesel (5.9 L). The engine must be a Cummins 5.9L common rail diesel engine to work with an existing dynamometer. The transmission shall be a DEE 6-speed manual. Protection Group options shall include ADB, including two hooks and transfer case skid plate shield. Convenience Group option shall be AJK (Standard) including speed control and tilt steering wheel. Single Rear Wheel group option shall be AR9 (Standard). Trailer Tow Group shall be AHC CLASS IV HITCH RECEIVER, 750 CCA Battery and 7-wire trailer harness. The GVWR shall be 9900 lbs (standard). The axle shall be DSA Limited Slip Rear. The truck shall have the GFD Sliding Rear Window. Standard colors (blue, green, or white) are preferred.
