The electrical distribution system is a 13,200 volt distribution system consisting of five distribution feeders. The capacity of the utility owned supply substation is 30 MVA, base peak demand is approximately 10 MVA with an approximate annual consumption rate of 43,000,000 kwh. Primary overhead distribution is approximately 300,000 linear feet. Primary underground distribution is approximately 135,000 linear feet. The water pumping station, completed in 1999, includes a 50,000 gallon underground clearwell, and three vertical turbine pumps, each rated at 500 gpm, 82 psi, 40 Hp. A small well serves the off-base site of Shuqualak. The wastewater collection system is a gravity system with an approximate flow rate of 0.35 mgd. The wastewater system consists of approximately 180,054 linear feet of pipe (vitrified clay, asbestos cement, and PVC) with sizes ranging from 4-inch through 12-inch pipe. The wastewater system also includes four sewage lift stations. A septic system serves the off-base site of Shuqualak.
