Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a sole source engineering studies delivery order with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516 for an engineering analysis of the Environmental Cooling System (ECS) Growth Components to meet the Addendum IV Loads for the F/A-18E/F Aircraft Weapon System in support of the AN/APG-79 Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Radar Program. MDC is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the F/A-18 Aircraft Weapon System and the AN/APG-79 AESA Radar. As such, MDC is the only source possessing the unique knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform the described effort in the requisite time frame.
