Description
Contractor shall furnish all personnel, material, labor, tools, and supplies to provide preventative maintenance service of government owned water purification systems at CDC, National Center for Infectious Disease in Atlanta, GA. Preventative maintenance includes, but not limited to replacement of o-rings, tubing connectors and filters, interconnecting tubing, faucet parts, pre-filter cartridges, exchanges of organic absorption and post membrane filters, deionization units, and organic scavenger. Sanitation of reverse osmosis, ultra filtration units using standard techniques, and regeneration of resins shall be included as part of the services. Units shall be serviced as described by the manufacture, and with Government approval as needed during the life of the contract. During performance of preventative maintenance, the systems shall be out of service only for the length of time required to disconnect and reconnect the subcomponents. Replacement units shall be equivalent to original equipment, or as specified by the manufacturer. Annual calibration is required on digital resistivity meters to ensure accuracy. Service history records will be maintained by the Contractor and displayed with each system. Contractor will be responsible for any damage as a result of improper service, poor workmanship, and use of incorrect parts, equipment or negligence. A service ticket specifying the sequential number, description of the service performed, date, location, and item number of the system shall be provided to the Project Officer at the completion of each service call. All routine maintenance calls shall be made during the Government?s normal working days, Monday through Fridays, excluding federal holidays, between the hours of 8am to 4pm. Service calls shall be coordinated with personnel responsible at the laboratories being serviced. The attachment A identifies list of systems, type and frequency for preventative maintenance. A performance base service commercial contract is contemplated. The contract period shall be for one base year with four 12 month option periods. Full and Open Competition will be used in soliciting offers for this requirement. The NAICS Code is 811219. Interested contractors are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification via email to the Contract Specialist within 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis. The scheduled solicitation due date will be approximately 30 days after the posting of the solicitation. The solicitation will be made available through the Internet at www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will also be made available at the same website.
