- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. RFQ-R5-NP-14-03-032 applies and is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-11. The NAICS code is 811212 and the size standard in millions of dollars is $21. Item Description: All Cat 5 hardware will be 568a. Place 183 Cat 5 cables from MDF to 76 locations, identified by the government to support voice and data communications. Voice cables will terminate on 48 port patch panels. Place a six-strand indoor/outdoor multimode fiber cable and a 25-pair OSP cable from wiring closet to a new building. Terminate the fiber with ST connectors and house in wall mounted LIU?s. Place a 25-pair OSP cable from the MDF to Carpenter Shop, MDF to Fire Building and MDF to Warehouse. Contractor is to provide all supplies. FOB destination to the McCloud Ranger District, 2019 Forest Road McCloud, CA 96057. Contract time is five days with an estimated start work date of February 10, 2003. The FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commerical, applies to this solicitation. The FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items applies. The specific evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of the provisions are (1) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government Requirements, (2) Delivery Schedule and (3) Price. Factor one is of highest importance with the remaining factors of equal importance. Quoter shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with its offer. The additional FAR Clauses apply to this acquisition: The FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this solicitation and the following addenda are added: FAR 52.247-34 F.O.B. Destination, and FAR Clause 52.232-18 Availability of Funds.
