Description
NA This requirement includes the furnishing, delivering, and unloading of stone materials (Type A, 8-15 Tons; Type B, 3-7 Tons, and Type C, 1-100 lbs) to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at a dock within three miles from the mouth of the Calumet River, Chicag o, Illinois. Acceptable stone materials are quartzite, granite, gabro, diabase, granodiorite, and basalt only. The Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity, firm fixed price contract with a base plus four option periods. Fo r consideration, bidders should submit complete packages by the due date. Award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS codes are 212311 and 212319, and t he SIC code is 1411. Estimated date for issuance of Solicitation is on or about 29 January 2003 with Bids due on or about 28 February 2003 at 2:30 pm. This package is available for downloading from the Internet only. Project specification files are Por table Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. This reader is contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements are 486-based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or later, 8-MB application RAM.
