Description

NA This is request for quotation (RFQ) for commercial items. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquistiion Regulation (FAR) 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in t his notice. Quotations are being requested and solicitation package will not be issued. Solicitaiton number DAHA02-03-T-0011 is issued as a request for quotation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-09 d td Aug 30, 2002. The associated North American Industrial Code (NAICS)is 493190; 21.5m. Standard Industrial Code 4226. The Governemnt may award items and others only pricing for possible future award. The USPFO FOR ARIZONA requires Storage Containers with end cargo door. Containers must be Seaworthy, Rustproofed, Painted Outside Tan or Beige. Minimum 14 Gauge Steel. Container frame 6-8 gauge steel, labels removed, 3.15mm Thick Steel Section cross member s positioned 305MM Centers NTE 12,000 lb. load capacity. End panel 2MM thick mild Steel, End door 2MM thick with minimum 4 steel hinges, stainless steel pins and 2 locking bars, side panels, 16mm thick mild steel welded to peripheral frame. 1 inch treated hard wood floor. Require containers for the following sizes; 10' x 8' x 8' and 20' x 8' x 8' and 40' x 8' x 8'. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation and response of this announcement. The RFQ and amendme nts will be available via the Internet World Wide Web at http://www.az.ngb.army.mil/uspfo/solicita.htm. Firms are encouraged to access the solicitation and amendments via the Internet. IT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FREQUENTLY CHECK THE SAME SITE WHERE THE SOLICITATION IS POSTED FOR ANY AMENDMENTS. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE NOT LATER THAN CLOSE OF BUSINESS DAY (LOCAL TIME, 3:00pm MST) ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 21, 2003.
