The National Weather Service (NWS) has accepted an offer of 6 surplus radomes from the National Aeronautical Space Administration (NASA). These radomes must be removed immediately or NASA will have to destroy them to make room for a new project. The radomes shall be removed from the Vandenburg AFB, CA, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL, and Key West, FL airport, with the option to add to or the removal of site locations from the list. Each radome shall be crated for shipment and each crate will then be addressed and stored for later shipment at a designated Point of Origin.
