For Design 1, rated airflow is 400 CFM (minimum) and pressure rise is 32 inWG at rated airflow (minimum). Maximum Power is 3500 watts. Maximum dimensions are 13.2 in. long x 10.9 in. diameter. Maximum weight is 56.5 lbs. For Design 2, rated airflow is 475 CFM (minimum) and pressure rise is 26 inWG at rated airflow (minimum). Maximum Power is 3500 watts. A common design meeting both requirements is strongly desired. As a goal, sound level for both designs should be limited to 85 dBA. Requirements for both designs include, but are not limited to, the following: Power is supplied by 24 V battery/28 V generator vehicle power supply as described by MIL-STD-1275. Performance requirements shall be met for voltage range of 18 to 33 VDC. Mean Time Between Unscheduled Maintenance (MTBUM) shall be 11,800 equipment operating hours or greater. The fan shall meet operational requirements after submergence in seawater, exposure to salt fog and humidity.
