- NA Architect-Engineer Services for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Type contract for the Massachusetts National Guard. Significant selection criteria are contained in Numbered Note 24. Item 6, Special Qualifications, shall consist of demonstrated s uccess in prescribing the use of recovered material and achieving waste reduction & energy efficiency in facility design. Potential initial projects at Barnes Air National Guard Base have been identified as: Install Fall Protection, Maintenance Hangar; Con struct Munitions Holding Pad; Renovate Building 12; Light Perimeter Road; Install Fall Protection, Petroleum, Oils and Lubricants Unloading Stand; and Install Generator; Replace Roof, Building 25. Projects at Otis Air National Guard Base and other National Guard facilities throughout the state may be requested in the performance of this contract, as well. The work covered by this statement will consist of furnishing all plant, labor, professional services, analysis, equipment, materials and in the perform ance of all necessary travel and associated services required to furnish complete designs ready for advertising of the above listed, and similar, projects. Completed designs shall include site investigations as required, compilation of data, technical an alysis, preparation of drawings, specifications and detailed cost estimates. All services and designs will be in accordance with professional engineering and architectural practices and supplementary instruction included in Army and/or Air Force standards and guidelines. These projects are the initial requests for services under a contract that covers provisions for additional engineering services as may be ordered for a period of one year (plus four option years) after contract award or until maximum fee o f $2,000,000 (no delivery order against this base contract shall exceed $550,000) is reached, whichever occurs first. Ensuing projects will also require architectural and various engineering design disciplines. Work anticipated under the contract may include Type A, B, C and Reproduction services in a variety of combinations. Criteria and definitive guidance for design will be provided to the selected A&E firm by the Contracting Officer. A&E firms which meet the requirements described in this announ cement are invited to submit one set of the following: Completed SF 254, A&E Statement of Qualifications and SF 255 A&E Statement of Qualifications for Specific Project. No other general notification to firms under consideration for this project is made an d no further action is required. This announcement is open to firms regardless of size. Qualified minority firms are encouraged to participate. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to re ceive and award.
