Description

NA The plant and equipment to be furnished under this contract includes the Lease of a 12-14 inch hydraulic pipeline dredge with operating personnel and attendant Plant, Tugboat with operating personnel, Booster pump, D-4 dozer or equivalent with operator, cr awler mounted dragline with operator, barge, steel drainage pipe, sluices and plastic sheeting. The Government will furnish all disposal areas under this contract. Solicitation documents will be available on the web page on or about 23 January 2003 and har d copies will not be available. No written or fax requests shall be accepted. Contractors shall download this solicitation (including drawings) and all amendments (including drawings) from the Internet at the following address https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mi l/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp on or after issue date of the solicitation. The official media of distribution for this solicitation is the Web Page. All required software to download the solicitation documents can be downloaded from the web page under ?View ers?. Interested contractors must register on the Internet. If any of the contractor?s information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible for making changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make changes in the ir user profile may cause a delay in receiving the solicitation and amendments. Bidders are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation including any drawings. Bid will be opened on or about 25 February 2003 at 11:00am. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS Code is 237990 with a size standard of $17.0 million. The estimated range of the project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 and bonding is required. Affirmative action to ensure equal employment opportunity is applicable t o the resulting contract. Liquidated damages will be specified. Award will be made as a whole to one bidder.
