- Description
- The VA Connecticut Healthcare System intends to negotiate sole source procurement with Nordion International, Contact Bruce Jones, 447 March Road, Kanata, Ontario, Canada, K2L1X8, 1-800-267-6211, to acquire Radiochemical. The contractor shall provide multiple shipments of an estimated 4700 mCi of the Radiochemical Iodine, I-123 Sodium Iodide over a one-year period from date of award. VA Connecticut requires Nordion for their utmost consistency of product, interest and willingness to perfect the outcome, i.e., quality control. Other vendors have tried in the past without success as their product has failed in our experimental studies. This procurement is under the authority of FAR 6.302. The Government will consider all proposals received by 1/13/02. A determination based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See note 22
