- Description
- The William J. Hughes Technical Center has established a broad based Engineering Support Services Area (ESSA) under the Multiple Award Support Services (MASS) contract vehicle. The Terminal Business Service (ATB) has committed to the use of this vehicle to meet its mission requirements. However, potential offerors should be aware that this vehicle shall be available to other FAA organizations, Agencies and Departments. The Contractor shall provide Engineering Support services to support the Federal Government, as described in Part I - Section C (Description/Specs/Work Statement), on an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) basis for a period of ten (10) years. The Government intends to evaluate and award multiple contracts in four independent, competitive categories; Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Business (SEDB) (8(a) certified); Moderately Small Business (MSB); Small Business (SB); and Full and Open (F&O). The Contractor shall provide services necessary to support the MASS ESSA requirements. The primary areas of these activities are: ? Engineering ? Applied Sciences, such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Meteorology, and Metallurgy ? Research ? Programming ? System Integration ? Configuration Management ? System Maintenance ? Deployment/Decommission ? Human Factors ? Training ? Air Traffic Control Support ? Airway Facilities/Aviation Systems Support ? Program Management, Business, Financial Support ? Planning, Control and Integration Support ? Transition and Implementation Support ? Routine Administrative Support Currently, responses to solicitation no.
