- NA DESC: 1420 01 149 0718, Part Number 11665003, The item to procure is a Accumulator, Assembly, Elevating Mechanism (NSN: 1420-01-149-0718) used on the M109 Howitzer Family. Mat?l: Steel Alloy 4140 and Alum Alloy Forging. C/O: Piston, 11664997; (2) Plate, 11665000; Base, 11664996; Cylinder, 11664995; Head, 11664998; Guard, 11665001; Valve Assembly, 9347371; Plate, 11665002; (2) Ring, 11664999; and Screws, Packing, and Retainers. Approximately 12.00 IN. Overall Length. Requirements are 55 ea, Accumulator, Hydraul. FOB is Destination. For use on the M109 Self Propelled Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 15 Jan 03. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Prices will be requested both with and without First Article Test Report. Higher Level Contract Quality Assurance Requirement ISO 9002 will be included in the solicitation. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ri a.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicit ation has been released to the internet. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY03 requirement. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailin g list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
