Description

This is a notice of intent to solicit and negotiate a sole-source order with Microsoft Corporation for continuation of Premier Support Services for HQ USSOCOM and Components at MacDill AFB, Florida. MacDill AFB intends to issue a purchase order to Microsoft Corporation under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 -- only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation per FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additiona information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-10. FAR provisions 52.212-1 and 52.212-2 apply to this acquisition. The offer shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, technical acceptability, adherence to applicable clauses, provisions, and satisfactory past performance record. Additional applicable FAR and DFARS clauses: 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.203-6, 52.219-8, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33, 52.222-41, 52.222-42. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, with their quote.
