- SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT; A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (8(a), HUBZONE, SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) Southwest Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command is seeking sources with current relevant experience, qualifications, personnel, and capability to perform the full range of property management functions required to support and maintain 192 single family homes at Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake, California. Property management functions may include, but may not necessarily be limited to, routine and non-routine housing maintenance, resident relations, preventative maintenance, grounds maintenance, pest control, street sweeping, roofing maintenance, HVAC maintenance, janitorial services, refuse collection services, change of occupancy maintenance, and other services customary in the property management industry. Interested firms must demonstrate property management experience for residential housing facilities of similar size and complexity as may be found at NAWS China Lake. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 531311 Residential Property Managers. The small business size standard is $1.5M. In its cover letter, firms submitting responses to this inquiry must identify its size standard as defined by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and if the firm is a small business, identify its small business classification (8(a), HUBZone, Disadvantaged Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Service Disabled or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, or other SBA small business concern). For more information refer to http://www.sba.gov/. Following the cover letter, firms should demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of experience managing multiple-unit residential housing complexes. Provide the complex name, address, a general description of the properties and a narrative description of the services provided by the firm.
