- Medical Supplies - Potential Sources Sought Military Hospitals - (Army, Navy, Air Force) TRICARE Regions 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 Electrodes (ECG) - Standardization _____________________________________________________________________________ Point of Contact: Cindy Ingrao, Clinical Consultant, Tri-Service Regional Business Office, TRICARE Regions 9 & 10, San Diego, CA. Telephone: (619) 532-8517. Potential sources sought to participate in the regional standardization of Electrodes. TRICARE Regions 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12, a military integrated delivery network (IDN), comprised of Army, Navy and Air Force medical treatment centers in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Colorado, Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, Idaho, Oklahoma, New Mexico, North Dakota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, California, Hawaii, Japan, Okinawa, Republic of Korea, and Guam are in the process of standardizing Electrodes. This product line includes general or all purpose monitoring electrodes for ECG's long and short term monitoring. If your company currently holds or is in the process of obtaining a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center-Philadelphia (DSCP) for Electrodes, your company is eligible to participate in the standardization process. Please respond by Email: cingrao@reg9.med.navy.mil and provide your company name, address, point of contact, telephone, fax and E-mail address and answers to the below listed questions no later than January 6, 2003. For questions, please call (619) 532-8517. 1. Are your electrodes FDA approved? 2. Are your electrodes tested according to Association of the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI)? 3. What types (ECG, EEG, etc.) and styles (snap, tab, etc.) of electrodes does your company manufacture and/or distribute? 4. What types of conductive materials do you electrodes contain? 5. Can your electrodes be used with any manufacturer?s equipment? 6. Can your electrodes be used for both short and long term applications? 7. How are your electrodes packaged? 8. Are your electrodes latex free and hypoallergenic? 9. Can your electrodes be used for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations? 10. Do your electrodes require any skin preparation? If so, what kind of skin prep is needed? 11. Do your electrodes require any creams or gels for operation? 12. What is the amount of pressure required to attach the lead to the electrode after it is applied to the patient? 13. What is your DAPA number? 14. Can this product group be distributed through the Prime Vendor program? 15. Under what brand(s) does your company manufacture/distribute this product group? 16. What types of educational tools or materials do you have for this product line? 17. Is there any history of backorders and/or recalls for this product group? If yes, please answer: a.
