NA Purchase of WINCHESTER .38 Cal 115 gr Comp HPFB XTP ammunition w/ Hornaday bullet and Lapua Brass; (Estimated 100 cases yearly) , .38 cal 125 gr (A) Super Comp ammunition w/ Hornaday lead core FMJ and Lapua brass; (Estimated 50 cases yearly), .38cal 125 gr (B) Super Comp ammunition w/ Hornady FMJ Bullet and Lapua brass; (Estimated 50 cases yearly), and .40 S & W 180 gr ammunition w/ FMJ flat point with Lapua brass (Estimated 90 cases yearly). Amunition is to be purchased for the United States Army Mark smanship Unit (USAMU), Ft. Benning, GA. Solicitation No. DABK03-03-R-0002, Solicitation packages will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry Website (http://acquisition.army.mil/) on or about 20 Dec 02. Contract Specialist, Edso n Harrington (706) 545-2409, Contracting Officer, Robert Battle, (706)-545-0357. Ammunition bid samples of 100 rounds are required with each offer and ammunition not meeting accuracy requirements will be rejected. A copy of accuracy standards may be obt ained with the solicitation. This is a requirements contract and ammunition is to be supplied on “an as-ordered “ basis during the period 3 Feb 03 thru 30 Jan 04 with two One-year options. The contract will be one hundred per cent set-aside for small b usiness firms. FOB Destination, Fort Benning, GA. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency.
