- Description
- This is a modification to the Synopsis published on Oct. 7, 2002. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA is soliciting proposals to procure the following on a full and open competition basis: the manufacture of sixty-four (64) ea with delivery of sixty (60) ea production units Command Destruct Receivers in accordance with Critical Item Product Specification for Receivers, Command Destruct, NWC 1638A in support of the HARM missile testing. This modification incorporates Optional Quantities of Production Units in the amounts of 15 ea, 20 ea, and 25 ea. Range Qualification Tests, and First Article Testing will be required unless the exact product proposed by the contractor has been produced in the last 12 months at the same facility using the same processes and equipment. Lot Acceptance Testing will be required on the production units and optional quantities. Delivery of the receivers will be FOB Destination to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, California, 360 days after contract award. Optional quantities may be exercisable at contract award or after, and delivery will be required 240 days after exercise. Partial and early deliveries are acceptable. Award is scheduled to occur by 30 Jun 2003. The offeror selected for award will be that offeror determined to be most advantageous to the Government based on Best Value evaluation. The evaluation criteria will be provided in the solicitation. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 24 Dec 2003, and will be available through the Contract Competency homepage Web site at: https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm. The Government anticipates a 30-day response time for receipt of proposals. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. See Note 26.
