Description

This synopsis is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) for Engineering and Technical Support Services for the Electronic Warfare and Radar Cross Section Branch of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division at Patuxent River, MD. In accordance with FAR 8.001, responses are requested only from GSA Schedule holders under SIN 871-6. All requests received from vendors without GSA Schedules will not be considered. The Electronic Warfare and Radar Cross Section Branch is responsible for developing and operating a range of facilities, systems, equipment, and software to provide in-flight multi-spectral signature and avionics/electronic combat measurements. Typical measurements include radar cross-section (RCS), infrared (IR), jammer-to-signal ratio (J/S), and chaff measurements for fixed and rotary wing aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), and decoy-to-signal (D/S) of towed decoys. Resulting data products include Whole-Body RCS, Wide-Band RCS, Doppler signatures, Jet Engine Modulation (JEM) signatures, downrange profiles, and ISAR imagery. The services requested include systems engineering, operations, facilities, configuration control and program management support services as required by the Electronic Warfare and Radar Cross Section Branch. Contract place of performance is Patuxent River, MD. A copy of the Statement of Work as well as quotation instructions are available by emailing hammettcl@navair.navy.mil. All responsible GSA Schedule holders under SIN 871-6 may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency.
