Description

NA Previous synopsis (13 Nov 02) is amended as follows: DESC: 4320-01-314-9352, Part Number 12909073, The item to procure is a Pump, Hydraulic Ram, for use on the M198 Howitzer. The solicitation will result in a 3-year, firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract. The guaranteed minimum quantity will be stated in the solicitation. The item to procure: hydraulic pump to meet requirements and conform to AN 6248-3 and spec MIL-P-5515. Pump body made from alloy steel, hardness RC2 2-30. Pivot arm shall be forged or extruded from aluminum alloy, 2024-T8. Pump must withstand 10,000 cycles and have an operation temp of -50F to +160, using MIL-H-H-6083 hydraulic fluid. The top drawing is source controlled to RGI Inc., 101 E Main St., Little Falls NJ 07424-1646. Qualification procedures are not in place. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 4 Dec 2002. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be p rovided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. The proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside.
