Description
NA Solicitation No. DACA45-01-R-0025 for the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Information Technology, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4I2TSR) Contract at Peterson AFB, Colorado, which was issued by the US Army Corps of Engineers, O maha District, is hereby CANCELED. The reprocurement for this contract will be conducted by the 21st Contracting Squadron (21 CONS) which is located at Peterson AFB, Colorado. The new solicitation number for this project is F05604-03-R-0002. The following was extracted from http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ and includes information on the reprocurement by 21 CONS. All information that was received by the Omaha District in response to the request for Market Research has been forwarded to the 21 CONS for their use i n preparing the solicitation package. All questions regarding the reprocurement should be directed to the 21 CONS point of contact as indicated in the following text. ?The 21st Contracting Squadron (21 CONS) at Peterson AFB will be conducting the solicitation and award of the C4I2TSR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Information Technology, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) services previously b egun by the Army Corp of Engineers, Omaha District. The purpose of the contract is unchanged and will still be to provide integration, engineering, materials, install and test, and provide limited allied support and operations and maintenance for a wide ra nge of current and future C4I2TSR systems world-wide in support of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), US Space Command, AF Space Command and other federal agencies. The capability briefs previously provided to the Army will be utilized to de termine whether this acquisition will be set-aside for small business or proceed under full and open competition procedures and any other determinations needed for acquisition planning purposes. THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL POSTING ONLY. NO RESPONSE IS REQUIRE D. The solicitation number for this acquisition will be F05604-03-R-0002. This service is subject to the Service Contract Act. The RFP and all associated documents when issued will be posted on the required government wide point of entry for business oppor tunities. The Internet address is http:// www.fedbizopps.gov and is then listed under DOD, US Air Force, Space Command locations, 21 CONS, Building 962. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. Any interested contractors that are not already listed on th e Army?s Plan Holders list may submit their corporate information for inclusion on the solicitation mailing list. If this information was already provided to the Army, then it has been transferred to 21 CONS and should not be resubmitted. No date has been established for the RFP issuance, however, when a milestone schedule has been developed it will be posted with the other solicitation documents. Offerors are encouraged to subscribe/register for this solicitation number through fedbizopps to ensure they au tomatically receive all documents associated with the procurement in a timely manner. All associated documents will also be released electronically unless a written request is received from contractors justifying hard copies. The NAICS code for this solici tation has not been determined, but the majority of the work appears to be in following codes: 517110 Wired Telecommunications Carriers, size standard 1500 employees, 541519 Other Computer Related Services, size standard $21 Million, 514210 Data Processing Services, size standard $21 Million, or 541512 Computer Systems Design Services, size standard $21 Million.
