Description
NA The US Army SBCCOM/PM-FORCE SUSTAINMENT SYSTEMS is Conducting a market survey for Cargo Bed Covers for the M101 Trailer, High Mobility Trailer-Light and High Mobility Trailer-Heavy. We are seeking sources, technical information and approximate costing for the Type V and VI CBCs. The CBCs are lightweight, rigid enclosures mounted on the trailers that are used to environmentally protect, store and secure mission equipment, tools and pilferable items/supplies. The CBC must be able to mount on the host trail er without modifying the trailer. The CBC cannot diminish the transportability requirements of its host carrier (i.e. ground transport, rail, internal and external air transport). The CBC and host trailer combination must be able to back onto and drive o ff of a C-130 aircraft. The CBC should have sides that allow wall-mounted items, i.e. lights, service outlet, or shelves. The CBC shall have lockable door large enough for equipment and supplies to pass through. It must be waterproof and shall be capable of withstanding spray pressure during heavy rainstorm, maintenance, and cleaning operations. All interested firms, regardless of size are encouraged to respond to this request for information. Responses may be sent via e-mail to connie.miles@natick.army. mil or via regular mail to US Army SBCCOM/Soldier System Center, PM Force Sustainment Systems, ATTN: SFAE-CSS-FP-F, Natick, MA 01760-5057, TELEPHONE (508) 233-4067. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only. This in not an invita tion for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not to be taken as a commitment by SBCCOM.
