Description

NA Y - The DC Air National Guard has a requirement for Energy Upgrades in various Facilities on Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland 20762-5011. Base Bid; Replace district steam in Buildings 1225, 1228, 3212, and 3222 with localized boilers. Install condensing natural gas fired infrared heaters in hangar bays in buildings 3119 and 1225 and 1228. Install non condensing natural gas fired infrared heaters in buildings 1225, 1228, 3119, 3212 and 3222. Building EMCS to include hot water reset, unoccupied temperature setback for winter months, unoccuped lighting control and time of day operations in building 1225, 1228, 3119, 3222. Asbestos abatement in building 3212 and 3222. Bid Additive (1) Install non-condensing natural gas fired infrared heaters in buildings 3002 , 3004, 3031 and 3227. Bid Additive (2) Install EMCS to include hot water reset, unoccupied lighting control and time of day operations in all other buildings. Bid Additive (3) Installation of water saver flush valves and fixtures in building 1225, 1228, 3 002, 3004, 3212, 3222 and 3227. Bid Additive (4) Upgrade exterior doors and windows in buildings 1225, 1228, 3004, 3029, 3031 and 3213 and 3236. IFB: DAHA49-03-B0001. The estimated magnitude of construction is $500,000.00 and 1,000,000.00. Soliciation docu ments to be issued on or about 12/16/02 on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. all responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered.
