Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items (commercial service) to 1064i and 1072 Diebold ATM machines along with cash replenishment service at Forth Worth BEP Credit Union, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; the Request for Qoutation Number is RFQ-03-0094. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-09. This is an unrestricted procurement. Interested parties need to read the attached SOW, Clauses, and provide a price quote for the base year and two option years of service. Quoters must provide a completed SF1449 and the certifications per FAR 52.212-3. Performance will be accomplished at both the Bureau's Credit Union in Washington, DC and Fort Worth, with Fort Worth having once a week cash replenishment. Quotations are due by 11/15/02 NLT 2pm. If hand carried, packages must be delivered at the BEP employee entrance at 13th and C Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20228. Couriers must be instructed to call 4-3255 upon arrival at the Bureau and to wait with the package until it is picked up. The procurement office will not be responsible for packages dropped off with the the police officers or left unattended. Due to this, a response by email to Robert.Knauer@bep.treas.gove is encouraged. Documents must be in MS Word Format, Spreadsheet files must be in MS Excel format. Telephonic requests for copies of this solicitation and telephone quotes will not be accepted. Interested parties must read the attacehed SOW RFQ03-0094, Clauses and providsiions and provide the completed SF1449. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing has a stated requirement for annual service support to 4 atm machines, 2 located in DC and 2 in Fort Worth with the following requirements for line 1 and line 2 level service as follows: 2 ATM locations DC / 2 ATM locations Fort Worth, TX. 1072- FIRST LINE (QTY 1), 1072- SECOND LINE (QTY 3) 1064i- SECOND LINE(QTY 1)and 1072-Cash Replenishment Service on a weekly basis. The period of performance is from 11/01/02 through 09/30/03 with two option years to quote on that shall be have the monthly invoice prorated for the first month of the first year depending on when the service provider actually begin service, and shall also be prorated up and through the end of 2005 as the service may be transitioned to newer machines either earlier that April 2005, and or possibly on April 2005. Notice of whether the government (BEP) will exercise the Options shall be provided 30 days prioir to end of each fiscal year. There is no quarantee the options will be exercised, but you should quote reqardless. A Firm Fixed Price for these services is contemplated. Contract document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2003. FAR 52.212-3, 52.212-4,, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, are applicable to the acquisition. The following additional FAR clauses cited in the clause, FAR 52.203-6, 52.219-8, 52.219-14, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-19, 52.225-13 52.232-33 and 52.244-2 are also applicable to the acquisition. Remember to submit a completed copy of the FAR provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. In accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(2), the date, time and place for all responses are due on or before close of business on 11/15/2002 NLT 2pm EST. A All offers must quote all or none.
