Description

NA The Corps of Engineers, Omaha District is seeking sources interested in responding to a solicitation to Reroof Shaft Building Substation, Fort Peck Project, Fort Peck, Montana. Work involves the removal of existing roofing and installation of new clay roo fing. Estimated cost of the contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. Evaluation factors will include, along with price, offeror experience. Offerors must submit a minimum of 3 references of clay tile roof installation projects completed during the last five years of comparable size and scope as this project. Contractors will be required to provide evidence in the form of a letter or certifcate, that the specific roofing team members have received specific training on the particular variations of slope roofing techniques appropriate for clay tile roofing. The training may be provided by the tile manufacturer or a third party with five or more years experience installing clay tile roofing. After award, the contractor will be required to construct, on si te, and prior to any tile installation on the roof, a representative sample portion of the clay tile roofing to be applied. A Performance Bond will be required. NAICS code is 235610, Roofing, Siding and Sheet Metal Contractors, with a Small Business size standard of $12,000,000. The successful contractor will be required to be in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database @http://www.ccr.gov.
