Description

The USCG, MLC, in Alameda, CA, proposes to contract for Dockside Repairs on USCGC ASPEN, a 225'Buoy Tender, home moorage of Yerba Buena Is (San Francisco)CA. All work will be accomplished at the cutter's home moorage, during the period of 18 Feb through 11 April 2003. Work items include; underwater hull plating and propeller divers cleaning, electric meter calibration, tachometers calibration, heater ventilation mods, commissary hoist level 1 inspect, hydraulic chainstoppers level 2 inspect and repair, pad eyes, links, gripes, binders and jacks level 1 inspect, single point davit inspect, buoy & cargo hhandling cranes inspect, oil content monitor meter calibration and temporary services. In about 15 days after issuance of this notice, an IFB (Invitation For Bid) will be issued, in accordance with the SBCDP. The solicitation, specifications and other notifications will be posted on the web at: www.eps.gov. Attn: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing, in the form of lines of credit, to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
