- Description of Work - This project is located in two locations on the Helena National Forest. The project includes; (1) Removal and disposal of the existing Trout Creek Trail Bridge deck and replacement with a glued-laminated trail bridge deck, and (2) Removal and disposal of an existing footing on the Missouri River Trail Bridge and replacement with a concrete grade beam on a geocell structure. Riprap shall be placed at both abutments on the Missouri River Trail Bridge. The contractor is responsible for removal and legal disposal of all excess material. Disposal shall be at an approved landfill or waste site. If water is present in the Trout Creek Streambed, construction shall be delayed until such time as the streambed is dry. Project Location: Trout Creek Trail Bridge approximately MP .5 miles northeast of Vigilante Campground on the Trout Creek Trail (T12N, R1E, Sec 28) on the Helena National Forest. Missouri River Trail Bridge is at the end of the Beaver Creek Road approximately 6 miles southwest of Nelson, MT on the Missouri River Trail (T12N, R2W, Sec 19) on the Helena National Forest.
