Description

The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation and 501(c)(3) organization, is soliciting price quotes from Auto Dealers for the purchase of a 4 Wheel Drive Chipper Truck. Vehicle Specs: 4 x 4 chassis cab, standard transmission with compound low gear, hitch, electric brake system to assist in stopping a 12,000lb chipper. Diesel 250 horsepower engine, 620lb/ft torque. 4 x 4 engaged (hubs locked) inside the vehicle. Power take off (PTO) to operate dump on chipper, 50 gallon fuel tank. Body Specs: 14? x 92?x60? Chip storage area, tool boxes ?L? design under chipper truck body. Inside ladder/pruner compartments. Strobe light system. Dump capability for chipper box. Hitch (pintel) attached to chipper body. Delivery of truck required on or about April 1, 2003. Price quotes must meet the specifications and delivery date set forth in the Invitation for Quotes (IFQ).
