- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR 3-AXIS, 3-CHANNEL LOAD CELLS. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the due date for receipt of quotes through 11/7/02 and provide answers to the following questions on preformance specifications: Q6. What is the Linearity of each axis? A6. Non-linearity ? 0.2% Full Scale. Q7. What is the cross talk? A7. Less that 2% on all channels. Q8. What type of electrical connector specs are required? A8. If you have a connector on sensor side, it must be positively locking and metallic. If there is no connector on the sensor side, it must provide a 10ft long, Teflon insulated, strain relieved cable. There in no requirement to have a connector on the free end of the cable. Q9. What are the operating temperature requirements? A9. 0 to 125? F (-17 to 52? C) Q10. What are the compensated temperature sepecifications? A10. None. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 10/28/02. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office 97 format and reside on the World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
