Description
NA The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for a contractor to furnish all labor and materials, fuel, oil and dock facilities to replace the port and starboard 8V71N Detroit main engines and Allison MH-20 LH and RH marine gears (transm issions) in strict accordance with specifications. Solicitation DACW29-03-T-0007 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This requirement is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR 12, Commercial Item. The applicable Standard Indus trial Code is 7699 and the business size is $5.0M including affiliates. The NAICS code is 811310. This solicitation is issued as 100% small business set aside. All interested parties may request a complete solicitation package by fax, 504-862-2889. Req uest for this solicitation shall be in writing, stating the solicitation number, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number and facsimile number. No telephone requests will be accepted. Quotes are due on or about Nov ember 20, 2002 1200 hours. NOTE: Contractor must be registered with Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-800-334-3414 or via the Inte rnet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Registering may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
