- Solicitation Number DAAE30-02-Q-0400 is hereby amended to incorporate several additional details to the synopsis/solicitation as follows. A shielded room of size 10? L x 12? W x 9? H is required to be assembled at Picatinny Arsenal. Detailed structural plans must be submitted for review against standards and approvals for assembly on post. The shielding must perform over a wide spectrum to shield against low frequency magnetic fields, as well as E and H fields. The room must have an 84" H x 36" W RF sealed door. Frequency range attenuated shall include the range of 0 - 10GHz. The minimum attenuation at 1 KHz of Magnetic Field is 35dB. The contractor must test and certify the shielded enclosure for signal leaks and ground isolation. The Enclosure must be transportable via forklift. Disassembly is acceptable for moving however must be reseal able. Supply and return HVAC air ducts, which maintain shielding with baffling or wave-guides or other suitable method will be needed. Two brass 12?x12? panels, which can be punched with holes for BNC connectors for signal cables, will be provided on side of building with door. One 2 x 30 amp Electrical filter is required, but no wiring assembly will be completed by the contractor. The flooring must be able to support the weight of 200 pounds per square foot. The materials do not need to be weatherproof, since the place of destination is indoors. This purchase order shall be awarded on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. In order to determine the technical responsibility of each offerors response, the government is now requesting a technical proposal by the closing date of 11/20/02 . The technical proposal shall address all the technical requirements of this synopsis/solicitation. The period of performance has been changed from January 2003 to March 2003.
