Description
The purpose of this Screening Information Request (SIR) is to seek competent and qualified 8(a) qualified firms for the facility management (NAICS Code 561210) at the Denver ARTCC in Longmont, CO. Requirement is for janitorial, armed security guard, grounds maintenance & landscape, refuse removal and snow removal services. The term of a resultant contract is anticipated for a base year beginning January 1, 2002, and four option years. The FAA contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract. Interested firms must be able to demonstrate certification under the Small Business Administration's 8(a) program. Technical Evaluation criteria are: (1) Management Proposal, including qualification of key personnel; (2) Quality Control Plan; (3) Past Performance and experience; (4) Knowledge and experience of key performance requirements; and (5) Management understanding of and approach to the project. Price is also an evaluation factor, but shall only apply to those qualified and certified 8(a)offerors whose proposals are found to be technically acceptable. Interested 8(a) firms interested in submitting an offer should call Phillip Sandoval at (425) 227-2837, fax him at (425) 227-1055, or submit a request for offer (RFO) package via email at phillip.sandoval@faa.gov by no later than November 15, 2002 for complete instructions on the required contents of a proposal package. Offerors requesting an RFO package beyond that date may be considered, but they will be at a disadvantage, since a makeup session for a required site visit will only be made on the basis of availability of ARTCC personnel to perform such a session. Requests for an RFO package must identify their request by referencing the SIR No. DTFA11-03-R-00011.
