Description

This solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Bureau Opportunities (FBO) web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The FBO site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the FBO site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This notice is issued under Request for Quotation (RFQ)#791328, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole-source basis with Internet Security Systems for the purchase of the following: (1) Travel Audit License Subscription with maintenance (internet scanner/database scanner and systems scanner) -Qty 1 each, (2) Internet and Systems Scanner Certification Course - Qty 1 each. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. However, all information must be received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis in order to be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
