Description

The Federal Correctional Complex Allenwood, located at White Deer, Pennsylvania, has a requirement for on-site Spanish GED Instruction services. Services will be required for a one-year base period, with a possibility for four one-year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The Government intends to make a single award for this requirement. The estimated quantities for each twelve (12) month period of the contract are as follows: 1456 one-hour sessions. Instructor must possess a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Education and a current Teacher's Certificate and/or certified teaching experience of more than one year at the high school, college, or university level. Contractor must be fluently bilingual in Spanish and English. A security investigation/clearance is required. The solicitation will be available on or after November 19, 2002, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this maner is determined to be in the Government's best interest. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site.
