- Description
- The Federal Correctional Complex Allenwood, located at White Deer, Pennsylvania, has a requirement for on-site Career Counseling services. Services will be required for a one-year base period, with a possibility for four one-year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The Government intends to make a single award for this requirement. The estimated quantities for each twelve (12) month period of the contract are as follows: 1248 one-hour sessions. Career Counselor must have a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or related field, OR verifiable experience in social work, teaching, interviewing, job placement, psychology, or personnel as required in the solicitation document. A security investigation/clearance is required. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer that will be considered for award. The solicitation will be available on or after November 18, 2002, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this maner is determined to be in the Government's best interest. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site.
