Description

The Federal Correctional Complex Allenwood, located at White Deer, Pennsylvania, has a requirement for on-site Test Administrator services. Services will be required for a one-year base period, with a possibility for four one-year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The Government intends to make a single award for this requirement. The estimated quantities for each twelve (12) month period of the contract are as follows: 1248 one-hour sessions. Test Administrator must possess not less than a four year (Bachelor) degree in the field of Secondary Education. Due to the extensive security procedures required for proper administration of the Official GED Test and general security procedures followed for ALL test administration within this federal prison, the prospective contractor must have at a minimum three years experience with test administration in an institutional setting. Contractor experience must be free of security breeches that have resulted in suspension of GED Testing privileges. Experience must also include administration of the new GED 2002 test in both English and Spanish, as well as administration of the SABE and CASAS tests for non-English or limited English speaking individuals. A security investigation/clearance is required. The solicitation will be available on or after November 20, 2002, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this maner is determined to be in the Government's best interest. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. The NAICS code for this requirement is 61191 (formally SIC Code Number 8299). The requirement is open to small businesses and large businesses.
