- Description
- The. U. S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, Marathon, FL, intends to contract maintenance services for a 82' law enforcement vessel and maintenance of other misc. law enforcement vessels. Contractor must meet the following criteria: 1) Knowledge of marine diesel, gas, and outboard engines. 2) Marine diesel certification of special training in marine diesels is advantageous. 3) Knowledge of general vehicle maintenance. 4) Past performance and work history required for the last 12 months and or 3 positions held. 5) Knowledge of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. 6) Ability to work independently. 7) Reside locally during the entire contract period in order to complete the work. 8) Possess a valid driver's license and own a personal vehicle. 9) Maintain a personal inventory of work tools. Period of performance is for 2 years. This contract is subject to availability of funds. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 811490. This acquisition is being conducted as a simplified acquisition under the authority of FAR Part 13. The request for quotation will be issued on or about November 18, 2002.
