- Description
- The FAA, New England Region currently has a requirement for the construction upgrade of the existing Instrument Landing System (ILS) serving Runway 23L at T.F. Green Airport in Providence, RI. The scope of work includes upgrading the Localizer, Glide Slope, and Outer Marker facilities to a Mark-20 ILS. The existing Middle Marker facility will be dismantled and disposed of. The work associated with the construction upgrade at these facilities includes, but is not limited to: Demolition, layout, site preparation, excavation, gravel access road/walkway work, cast in-place concrete, concrete pull box installation, underground electrical conduit/duct bank installation, electrical cable installation, electrical enclosure installation. This project is estimated between 100,000 - $250,000. Performance time is 8 weeks. Solicitation packages will available on or about November 12, 2002. The closing date will be on or about December10, 2002. Performance and Payment Bond are required. There is a $25.00 non-refundable fee required for the solicitation package. All checks must be made payable to the Federal Aviation Administration.
