- This is a modification to solicitation SP070098R1478. POC will be Esther Hayden at (614)692-4727.This announcement is for the procurement of part-numbered items manufactured primarily by Kaiser Electroprecision (86831) and others of the same NSNs. The NSNs are available for download via the internet at http://www.dscc.dla.mil/programs/corporate_contracts/cc.asp. Companies interested in offering on the listed NSN, an item other than a Kaiser Aerospace item, please contact Esther Hayden at 614-692-4727. No RFP will be issued as it is the intention of the Government to add these NSNs to an existing contract. Evaluation will be on an NSN by NSN basis. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Note(s):12 and 26. Specifications,plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration(base plus option years)shall not exceed 3 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class: 3020,3040,4330, 4720,4730 and 5930. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10U.S.C.2304(c)(1). Approved sources are listed on the aforementioned web site. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The class code for this modification is 47:Pipe,tubing,hose and fittings.
