Description: NA In Building 110 Weld Shop Sections 50-57, Bays D-G, provide a new wet-type ordinary hazard occupancy (group2) sprinkler system IAW latest edition of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). As built drawing No. 5613-660, sheet 1 of 3 and sketch No . 1668-110 will be provided for reference with the scope of work. Submittals are required, including shop drawings. Written certification by the fire protection contractor shall be provided to the contracting office for approval. Materials and accessori es submittals are required. All new sprinkler piping shall be tested with no visible leaks. Heads shall be rated for 165 degrees F and conform to NFPA and UL. Spare sprinklers are required. Contractor shall provide and install eight (8) each fire flame- retardant curtains 12 oz. canvas. Contractor shall comply with all OSHA rules and Watervliet Arsenal Safety, Fire, Security and Environmental Rules for Contractors. Estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000 total. Wage Determination NY020002 applie s and will be included in solicitation. Contractor will be requested to provide past performance references. Site visit is required. Performance and Payment bonds are required.
